Amala Paul has married her boyfriend, Jagat Desai. The couple had a magnificent lavender-themed wedding in Kochi. Amala is an actress known for her work in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films. She made her Bollywood debut this year with Ajay Devgn's film "Bhola."

Just ten days after Amala's engagement, she said "yes" to Jagat's surprising proposal on her birthday. They got hitched in a beautiful lavender-themed wedding ceremony in Kochi, following Christian wedding traditions.



Amala shared pictures of her wedding with Jagat on her Instagram handle on Sunday. You can see them twinning in lavender - she is wearing a white designer kurta-pajama with a lavender dupatta, and he's holding her hand lovingly in the first picture. In the first frame, they're on the stage, and in the next frame, they are descending a wooden staircase. They are smiling in the third photo, while the remainder of the frame is decorated with pyrotechnics.

Amala captioned it, "Celebrating the love and grace that brought us together. #MarriedWithMySoulmate."

A little while before Amala, Jagat also shared another set of wedding pictures. His pictures are from the same photoshoot they did in the same attire they wore during the wedding. Jagat captioned it, "Two souls, one destiny, hand in hand through this lifetime."



Amala will next appear in the Malayalam survival drama "Aadujeevitham."

According to the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Indian Railways, the accident occurred around 9:35 PM last night near the Raghunathpur station in the Danapur division of Buxar, and there have been no reports of casualties. The 12506 Down Northeast Express, which departed from Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi at 7:45 AM, was headed towards Kamakhya Junction in Guwahati, Assam. As per an ANI report, the East Central Railway Zone has dispatched a medical team and officials to the accident site for relief operations. A railway official mentioned to PTI that a scratch rake has been sent from Patna to transport passengers from the accident site.
