Stellantis India's Strategic Move: New Jeep Compass CSUV Promises More for Less

To increase its market share from 10% to 40%, Stellantis India developed the new Jeep Compass small SUV (CSUV) with improved amenities at a cheaper price.

The new car has a starting price of 20.49 lakh and the automatic range starts at 23.99 lakh ex-showroom.

The automatic gearbox Compass is now significantly more inexpensive thanks to the revised Jeep range, which offers savings of around 20%, or about 6 lakh, when compared to the previous model.

When introducing the new Jeep Compass line, Aditya Jairaj, Head of Jeep India Operations and Deputy Managing Director of Stellantis India, said, "The Jeep brand has been at the forefront of the CSUV segment in India since 2017, offering industry-leading features with the Compass."

The brand-new Compass with 4X2 9AT (9-Speed Automatic Transmission), he stated, "meets customers' aspirations for a Jeep vehicle at a more affordable price point."
